History of Saraburi Highway District

Saraburi Highway District was established in 1943 (B.E. 2486).

Originally, the office was located on Highway No. 1, Wang Noi – Saraburi Section (at Hin Kong Intersection), at Km. 94+100 on the right-hand side.

Later, in 1972 (B.E. 2515), the office was relocated to Highway No. 1, Saraburi – Phu Khae Botanical Garden Intersection Section, at Km. 110+500 on the left-hand side, in Pak Phriao Subdistrict, Mueang District, Saraburi Province.

The total area covers 38 rai and 20 square wah.

The official opening ceremony of the new office was held on June 22, 1972.
